Fair Trade providers at UH

Java City only sells Fair Trade blends on the University of Houston campus. It is located in the University Center on the ground floor right next to Wendy’s.

Coffee Groundz in the Hilton Hotel school only sells fair trade (although they like to keep it a secret, we’re working on getting them to put up some signs and to provide literature).

Einstein Brothers Bagels sells a wild variety of bagels and pasteries to compliment their coffees and one Fair Trade brew at University of Houston campus building PGH, across from the MD Anderson Library.

Shasta’s Ice Cream and More, which is in the corner of the lower level of the UC (near the Cougar Bytes store) sells only fair trade coffee and also sells fair trade chocolate and fair trade cocoa when its in season.

If you live on campus, both dorm cafeterias vend only fair trade coffee.

Please, ask for Café Estima if you’re interested in drinking Fair Trade coffee at Starbucks. Starbucks has two establishments on the University of Houston campus, located at the UC Satellite and the Bauer Business Administration College (on the second floor).
